AI Without Losing Your Mission
A video series on AI governance for nonprofit and government leaders.
Most AI content is written for one of two audiences: technical practitioners who already understand the systems, or general audiences who want reassurance. This series is for the people in between — executive directors, program officers, city administrators, board members — who have real decisions to make about AI and need more than hype or alarm to make them well.
Each episode takes a concept from AI governance research and works through what it means in practice: where the theory holds, where it breaks, and what a thoughtful leader should actually do.
The series draws on peer-reviewed research, applied governance work with public-sector and nonprofit organizations, and frameworks developed over a decade of studying how mission-driven organizations navigate AI adoption without losing what makes them effective.
